I am a graduate of Regent University (2011) with a Master's degree in counseling, a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. As an outpatient therapist, I enjoy working with individuals, families, and children. I have extensive experience working with groups, individual counseling, premarital, marital, couples, family relationships, adults, adolescents and children. I have worked with children in schools as a therapeutic day counselor, intensive in-home counselor working with at- risk children and their families. I have also facilitated support groups for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety and bipolar.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have over 10 years of experience working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship concerns, mood disorders, disruptive behaviors, self-esteem, substance use, trauma, and LGBTQ.. I've been utilizing skills from treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based interventions. I have extensive experience working with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. As a veteran and former first responder, I also understand the unique life experiences of those populations, and greatly enjoy serving those who serve their community and nation. I am comfortable supporting the style of communication that works best for you, but I'm a firm believer in at least occasional video sessions. Being connected to people is vitally important to our mental wellness, even if it's over a video link.
