When possible, I like to start with nutrition and lifestyle changes and only provide medications when necessary. I consider my interactions with patients caring and lighthearted. I am honest and empathetic. Ultimately, I hope to improve the health of my patients and give them knowledge about their condition and peace of mind.

My job is to help my patients maximize their gastrointestinal health so that they can flourish and live a healthy life. Through careful one-on-one discussion and appropriate use of lab testing, radiology, and endoscopy, I will try my best to find the cause of whatever is concerning my patients. Our office is dedicated to promptly answering our patients' concerns and questions.

I really enjoy working one-on-one with patients to solve problems, preventing cancer with screening colonoscopy and seeing results, both procedurally and in the clinic. I am understanding, straightforward, detailed and thorough. I like to empower my patients to manage their own conditions by helping them understand their physiology, what can go wrong when they have certain diseases and their treatment options. I am extremely thorough, and I provide evidence-based medicine to help patients achieve the best results and a better quality of life

I became a physician for the simple reason that I wanted to do something for others and to make a difference in their lives. With disorders of the digestive tract, peoples lives are changed in a very fundamental way. These people have pain, discomfort, irregular habits, and a wide variety of symptoms that range from unpleasant and embarrassing to disruptive and debilitating. These are people who truly need help, and an improved quality of life. This is my motivation as a physician.
