Polly Logan, APRN-CNM is a certified nurse midwife with Woman's Choice Midwifery affiliated with The Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston, Texas. Polly began her career in women's health as a labor & delivery RN after completing her nursing degree from The University of Texas at Austin. After 12 years she desired to continue her education and obtained her master's of nursing specializing in midwifery from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After graduation, she and a fellow midwife opened Reunion Birth Center and for over 8 years offered out-of-hospital births. She then desired to bring her compassion for birth into the hospital setting. She believes all women should have options and feel safe, cared for, and listened to during their pregnancy and birth experiences. Polly has two grown children and two grandsons who she adores. Her other passion is canine rescue and along with her yellow lab, Archie has fostered many pups and helped them find forever homes.
