She then pursued her medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Bell completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan. She chose the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology because of the versatility the field. Dr. Valenti attended medical school at State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated with Honors, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Prior to medical school he worked on a Master's degree in Immunology while conducting cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.Dr. Valenti is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His appointments include Past President of the Denton County Medical Society, twice past Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Denton Regional Medical Center, past Chief of Staff of North Texas Hospital, and Immediate Past Chairman of the Council on Socioeconomics for the Texas Medical Association.
