Dr. Armando Yepes, MD, FACC is an interventional cardiologist with Dallas Cardiovascular Specialists at Medical City Dallas and Medical City Las Colinas. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, vascular medicine and endovascular medicine. Dr. Yepes has been in practice in the Dallas Fort Worth area for more than 10 years, and brings 15 years of experience to Medical City Dallas. He previously held various leadership positions including Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Las Colinas Medical Center, Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Medical City Las Colinas. Dr. Yepes attended Medical School at the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Seora Del Rosario at Bogot, Colombia. He completed his medical internship and residency in internal medicine at University of Miami School of Medicine. He has fellowships in cardiology from The University of Texas at Houston, Health Science Center Medical School and in interventional cardiology from Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix/University of Arizona College of Medicine. He is a Fellow the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Yepes specializes in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, vascular and endovascular medicine. Dr. Yepes is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of medicine, his interests include traveling, jogging, playing squash, snow skiing, and spending time with his wife and children.
