Dr. Carl Bischoff is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Bischoff completed his Urology residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and his Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Bischoff practices general urology with a focus on urologic oncology. He has a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of urologic cancers as well as reconstructive surgery. Dr. Bischoff has been chosen to train on the daVinci SP Surgical System – a state-of-the-art robotic system that reduces surgical access to one incision, while allowing 360 degree maneuverability and an expanded range of surgical instruments. Carl Bischoff serves as the Chief of robotic surgery at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and Arise Austin Medical center. He enjoys living in Austin with his wife, Emily, and their four children, Emma Claire, Annaliese, Madeline, and Wyatt. Dr. Bischoff has been recognized as a ``Top Doctor`` under the category of Urology in the January 2019 edition of Austin Monthly Magazine. I practice Gynecology only. I enjoy helping women through the different times of their reproductive lives. From teenage menstrual problems and awareness of their bodies to midlife menopausal issues and beyond. I enjoy providing medical and surgical treatments for my patients. I also am fluent in spanish and enjoy providing this service to a growing segment of our population.

Dr. Shepherd started her career as a teacher, with positions in San Antonio, India, and Alaska. She decided to combine her love of teaching, interest in women's health, and passion for helping others into a career in medicine. She completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center and finished her residency at Brown University in Rhode Island. She is passionate about women's health and prenatal care. She feels it is a privilege to participate in welcoming new babies into their family and caring for women throughout their life time. She takes pride in explaining diagnoses and plans to patients, providing personalized care and forming a meaningful relationship with her patients. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, running and spending time with her husband and two children.
