Later he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Toronto in Canada. After his residency, Dr. Ali completed fellowship trainings in cardiology at the University of Calgary and University of Ottawa, a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Ottawa, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology from the University of Calgary Medical School. He occupied several academic posts in Canada then in the US where he served as an assistant professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University before moving to private practice.

Dr. Parag R. Patel is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and NYU School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at NYU Medical Center, and served as Chief Resident at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. Before joining Centennial Heart in 2015, Dr. Patel completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at the Cleveland Clinic. In his scholarly work, Dr. Patel has researched, written and presented on topics such as restrictive cardiomyopathy, cardiac tumors and coronary artery disease in women. His areas of expertise include cardiac imaging, lipid management, heart valve disease, general cardiology and preventative cardiology. Dr. Patel speaks Gujarati, conversational Hindi and Spanish. He enjoys reading and staying active by hiking and camping.

Dr. Hammad Aziz is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist practicing at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center located in Smyrna, Tennessee. Along with providing general and interventional care for patients, he is fellowship-trained in cardiac imaging including echocardiography, CT and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Azi's desire is to provide the best possible health care possible while working with his patients as a team to achieve their goals. By doing this, he hopes this will lead to greater patient satisfaction and better outcomes Dr. Aziz earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Pakistan, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Temple University in Upland, Pennsylvania. After residency, Dr. Aziz completed his fellowship in cardiac imaging at Yale New Haven VA Hospital, West Haven, New Haven, Connecticut. He completed his fellowship in general cardiology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, and his fellowship in interventional cardiology from the University of Connecticut/Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
