Samik Banerjee, MD, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery, is part of Einstein Healthcare Network's Department of Orthopedics and Total Joints Surgery. Dr. Banerjee received his medical degree and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Calcutta, India. In the United States, he completed a 5-year accredited orthopaedic residency at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. He subsequently completed the Pelvic and Lower Extremity (Adult Reconstruction) Fellowship at Rothman Institute, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
