Dr. Salvo is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and specializes in knee ligament (ACL) reconstructions, shoulder instability, rotator cuff repairs, and hip arthroscopy. He completed Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and Fellowship Training in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Daniel has written numerous peer reviewed scientific papers, and several book chapters and has presented his research nationally and internationally on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the foot and ankle. He is currently involved in the development and design of specific implants for patients with deformity related to diabetes mellitus and trauma. He draws on his experience in the management of all aspects of foot and ankle surgery to include deformity correction, sports injuries, arthroscopy, reconstruction, fracture management, arthritis, neuromuscular conditions (to include stroke and cerebral palsy) and ankle replacement surgery. Dr. Daniel is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, where he serves as a member on two national committees. Dr. Daniel proudly served his country on active duty for 20 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.

Dr. Shakked is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders. She completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and went on to complete a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
