Lisa Mix, CNM, MS serves as a certified nurse midwife at Women's Health Specialists & Midwives of Dayton. She completed her nursing degree Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing and earned a bachelors of science degree in nursing from the Indiana Wesleyan University. She earned her certificate of nurse midwifery and a masters of science in Midwifery at the Institute of Midwifery, Women and Health in Philadelphia. She has served as a level 3 labor and delivery nurse and a staff nurse in trauma and emergency. Lisa has been with Women's Health Specialists since April 2000. Lisa was one of the original Family Beginnings nurses and the founding midwife of our practice with Dr. Guy. She is also certified in Electronic fetal monitoring. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH in 2013 and her Postgraduate Certificate in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY in 2021. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in 2008. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and as a Certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Kelly provides full-spectrum midwifery care, including all gynecological procedures and comprehensive birth control options. As a midwife, Kelly is passionate about attending births at Miami Valley Hospital. She also manages primary care needs and cares for women of all ages. Neva Dehart, CNM, MSN, NPWH received a BS in Nursing at Wright State University, then continued her education at the University of Cincinnati where she earned a Master's Degree in Nursing as a Certified Nurse Midwife and a certificate as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Before joining our practice in 2011, Neva worked in the Family Beginnings Birthing Unit at Miami Valley Hospital. Neva is accepting new patients. She is now trained and certified in Nexplanon insertion

Charissa Newton, DNP, CNM earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2007, and Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2016. Prior to joining the Center for Women's Health and Wellness, she served as a registered nurse in labor and delivery at Atrium Medical Center. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Fetal Monitoring.

Pamela M. Madden, CNM earned a midwifery certificate in 1999 from the Institute of Midwifery, Women and Health in Philadelphia. The following year, she earned her master's degree in midwifery from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science.
