A native of Mandan, ND, Dr. Hebert graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mary, where he earned the Leadership Award, was a member of the Kappa Gamma Pi National Honor Society, and was recognized as Outstanding Senior in the Math/Science Division. He attended the University of Minnesota, receiving a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology. Dr. Hebert received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota, attaining two scholarships and the Family Medicine Project Research Award. Dr. Hebert completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Veterans Affairs and MeritCare Hospitals in Fargo, ND, where he was selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and also received the Excellence in Research Award.
