I enjoy treating the vast range of medical conditions covered in the practice of family medicine, with a special interest in exercise and sports medicine. I place high emphasis on the importance of wellness and preventative care by providing my patients with healthy lifestyle education and performing appropriate medical screenings to proactively prevent chronic disease and other illness. Board certified by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, Dr. Flaherty provides area families with compassionate medical care. She attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey's School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her Master of Biomedical Sciences in 2009, followed by her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2013. In medical school, Dr. Flaherty served as vice president of the National Osteopathic Women Physician's Association. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, where she served as chief resident from 2014 to 2016. At Jefferson Health in New Jersey, Dr. Flaherty provides patients (newborn through adult) with individualized care for prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
