Prior to coming to Einstein, Dr. Hubbard worked at Yale University School of Medicine where he honed techniques in advanced hernia surgery as well as managing a successful weight loss surgery practice, offering comprehensive care to those suffering from obesity. Dr. Hubbard is also credentialed to perform highly skilled robotic surgery. Dr. Hubbard obtained a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and a master's degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame, and his medical degree from the University of Rochester. Dr. Hubbard completed a residency in general surgery at Case Western Reserve University and a bariatric and minimally-invasive surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Hubbard previously worked at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital in Connecticut. He is board-certified in general surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
