Dr. Kesl is one of the few fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeons in the Kansas City area. During his fellowship with Wellspan York Hospital, York, Pa., he developed special expertise in the repair of complex long bone fractures, periarticular fractures, pelvic fractures, non-union of fractures, including grafting procedures, other complex trauma-related fractures, and general orthopedics. Dr. Kesl joined OSI following completion of his fellowship. He performed his residency in orthopedic surgery with OSI at St. Mary's Medical Center, Blue Springs, Mo. He completed his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Columbia College, Columbia, Mo.

Gregory Barnhill, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic physician with Orthopedic Surgeons, Inc., and he is affiliated with Research Medical Center Brookside Campus in Kansas City, Missouri. He has special interest in treating muscle, bone and joint ailments, sports injuries, degenerative diseases and disorders, and joint replacement surgery. Dr. Barnhill completed medical training at Kansas City University and Normandy Osteopathic Hospital. He holds active memberships in the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association, Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons, and Jackson County Osteopathic Association. He is also an assistant professor of surgery at Kansas City University.
