As a member of the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB), I am a firm believer in a holistic approach to safe delivery of women's health care. I practice full-scope midwifery which includes antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care of the mother and family. I also specialize in well-woman care including birth control management and annual exams. As a midwife, I believe in supporting each woman as a whole in every aspect of her life. My mantra when laboring with a woman is to allow nature to take its course and intervene only when necessary. My four children constantly remind me of why I chose midwifery.

As an OB-GYN, I've chosen to serve the women of the greater Twin Cities area during their most intimate moments of life. I enjoy comprehensive women's health care and my special interests include teen pregnancy prevention, menopausal transition and minimally invasive surgical interventions.

I am a certified nurse midwife who provides care to women throughout their lifespan. I especially enjoy adolescent health, pregnancy, birth, postpartum care and birth control counseling. I enjoy empowering women to know more about their bodies and working together to help them achieve their optimal health.
