Dr. Gustafson™s favorite part about being an internal medicine physician is forming long-term relationships with patients. She loves the moment when a person finally reaches their goal weight or has their depression/anxiety under good control. She treats the whole person so that the diuretic used for heart failure does not cause kidney failure. Patients can be taking 12+ medications and Dr. Gustafson™s job is to make sure those medications are necessary, well-tolerated, working well and are appropriate given other medications/allergies. He attended Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic. Before coming to Park Nicollet, Dr. Druckman worked with Allina in Cambridge, Minnesota. Dr. Druckman enjoys working with a small group of physicians who work well together. He likes to practice at a location where the group can provide more continuity of care due to the proximity of the hospital and the clinic. 'I enjoy taking the time to explain things and answer questions, to educate patients so that they can make well informed decisions about their care.' Dr. Druckman has special interests in adolescent Ob/Gyn, pelvic pain, endometriosis, high risk pregnancies, laparoscopy, contraception, and menstrual abnormalities. Dr. Druckman likes the ability to provide top quality care in a system that emphasizes quality and includes all specialties to be able to provide comprehensive care for patients 'under one roof.' 'It is nice to be able to just focus on patient care and not be influenced or distracted by administrative issues.' I enjoy the balance of my office practice, obstetrical care and surgery, but I am especially interested in gynecological surgery and adolescent obstetrics and gynecology. I value the relationships I have with my patients through the exciting times, such as childbirth, and through the challenging times, like perimenopause or gynecological problems.
