After completing medical school at the University of Toronto, Dr. Razik went on to pursue specialty certification in Internal Medicine with internships at Mount Sinai Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre. He then completed subspecialty training in Gastroenterology at U of T while working with North America's largest liver transplant program at Toronto General Hospital and the Inflammatory Bowel Disease centre at Mount Sinai. Further subspecialty exposure occurred at St. Michael's Hospital in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. This prompted Dr. Razik to pursue further fellowship training in Interventional Endoscopy at the University of Calgary while simultaneously completing his Master of Public Health program at Harvard University with a focus on Health Management.
