Hello! My name is Alex Jeffery. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is passionate about helping my clients along their healing journey. After working at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill then abroad in China I went back to school and earned my Masters Degree from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. I am now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I have 5+ years of experience working with survivors of sexual assault both as an advocate and a therapist. I also have significant experience working with clients with a dual diagnosis of substance use disorders and other mental health disorders. My approach is strength based and client-centered with a cognitive-behavioral focus. I work with you to develop goals and give you tools to help reach those goals.
