Dr Javier F Torres-Roca is a Senior Member in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He also serves as Professor of Oncologic Sciences in the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, he completed research fellowships in immunology and genetics at the Institut Pasteur in Paris and Stanford University in California. He subsequently trained in radiation oncology at the University of California, Irvine. Dr Torres-Roca's research interests include the development of genomic strategies to personalize radiation therapy for individual patients. His clinical interest is in genitourinary malignancies.

Dr Sarah Hoffe is the Section Head of GI Radiation Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center and joined the faculty in 2006. She is a Senior Member at Moffitt and Professor in the University Of South Florida Morsani College Of Medicine's Department of Oncologic Sciences. Dr Hoffe's research and clinical interests include cancers of the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, bile duct, rectum, colon, anus, as well as neuroendocrine cancers.

Dr G Daniel Grass is an Assistant Member and clinical-investigator in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr Grass received his MD and PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Pathobiology from the Medical University of South Carolina, Medical Scientist Training Program. He completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida. He is focused on treating patients with genitourinary malignancies (e.g. prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, ureter, testicular) by implementing novel approaches with leading edge radiation technologies.

Dr Johnstone received his MD degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD. He completed a Transitional Internship at National Naval Medical Center and a Radiation Oncology Residency at the National Cancer Institute. Dr Johnstone served in the United States Navy, retiring in 2003. He then served as Professor of Radiation Oncology and Hematology/Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine from 2003-2007. He was Director of the Survivorship Program at the Emory Winship Cancer Institute during this period. Dr Johnstone was appointed as Chair and William A Mitchell Professor of Radiation Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2007.

Dr Fernandez received his MD degree in 2005 from Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University and PhD degree in 2004 from the University of South Florida/National Institutes of Health Graduate Partnerships Program. During his time at the National Institutes of Health, he spent two years as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Research Scholar working in the Laboratory of Chemical Physics of the NIDDK where his research focused on vibrational spectroscopic imaging modalities applied to prostate cancer. Dr Fernandez completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, CA.

Dr Dilling's primary clinical focus is the radiotherapeutic treatment of thoracic malignancies.Dr Dilling's research interests focus around the use of Big Data and artificial intelligence to generate novel insights into patient treatment and toxicity. To that end, he has curated a database of thousands of patients who have received radiotherapy to the lung at Moffitt (millions of data points). This data set is among the largest/most complex clinical data sets on radiotherapy patients in the world.

Dr Larry Silverman to the faculty is a Clinical Assistant Member in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Silverman received his MD degree from the University of Miami, Florida. He completed a Radiation Oncology residency at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, where he also served as Chief Resident. He then completed a Radiation Oncology Fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida. Dr Silverman joins us from GenesisCare, Sarasota, Florida where he has worked as a Radiation Oncologist since 1998. Dr Silverman's clinical and research interest is palliative radiotherapy with a focus on the treatment of bone metastases.

Dr Montejo joined the Moffitt Radiation Oncology Faculty in 2013 and currently serves as the departmental section head for the gynecologic radiation oncology service and radiation oncology service at Moffitt International Plaza satellite. His clinical interests include management of lymphoma, female gynecologic and breast malignancies including application of brachytherapy and modern highly conformal image-guided external beam radiotherapy. His research interests include brachytherapy and adaptation of highly conformal image-guided external body radiosurgery techniques to gynecologic and breast malignancy applications.
