Alexander Gaukhman, M.D., M.S., is an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Gaukhman specializes in total joint replacement surgery. Dr. Gaukhman joined the Orthopedic Institute from the NYU Langone Medical Center/Hospital for Joint Diseases and the Insall Scott Kelly (ISK) Institute, where he completed an adult reconstruction fellowship. Dr. Gaukhman, a first-generation American, immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of 6 and grew up in North Florida. He earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University, known as one of New England's busiest trauma hospitals, under the auspices of Drs. Paul Tornetta III and Thomas Einhorn. He trained and cared for patients at Boston University Medical Center, Beth Israel Lahey Health Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, Shriner's Hospital for Children and the Boston VA. During his residency, Dr. Gaukhman was nominated into the American Orthopedic Association, an honor bestowed on the top one or two residents within each program in the United States. Following training in Boston, Dr. Gaukhman was accepted to the prestigious adult reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly (ISK) & NYU Langone Medical Center/Hospital for Joint Disease, one of the only two orthopedic surgery specialty hospitals in the country. There, he had the opportunity to further refine his skills under some of the first pioneers in joint replacement surgery and adopt skills in robotic and computer-navigated surgery. Although training in the Northeast provided Dr. Gaukhman with the knowledge and experience needed to provide excellent care to patients, he always knew he would return to Florida to begin his practice as a specialist in hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. Gaukhman's goal is to provide the highest level of care to patients with degenerative diseases of the hips and knee, including rheumatoid arthritis, developmental hip dysplasia, avascular necrosis, and post-traumatic arthritis.

Dr. Matthew Motisi is an orthopedic surgeon who believes in providing an individualized approach and strives for continuity of care. His goal is for his patients to have a more personal and enjoyable experience during a period of hardship in their lives resulting from sports related injuries, trauma, or degenerative diseases. He focused his training on being able to provide up-to-date, first-class orthopedic care to his patients and community. Dr. Motisi provides comprehensive sports medicine and orthopedic care, with a special interest in the complete spectrum of care from joint preservation to joint reconstruction of the hip, knee, and shoulder. This includes advanced arthroscopic/minimally invasive treatments, arthroplasty, and fracture care. He performs the latest techniques including the direct anterior approach total hip replacement, robotic total and partial knee replacement and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Motisi is a native to Plantation, Florida, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science and then he received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, graduating at the top of his class. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Broward Health Medical Center, a busy Level 1 Trauma Center. During his time there, he received extensive training in all facets of orthopedic surgery including primary and complex joint reconstruction, as well as complex fracture care and surgery. During his final year of residency he was chosen as a Chief Resident and awarded Orthopedic Resident of the Year. After Residency, Dr. Motisi completed an additional year of fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was also a team physician for several high school and collegiate sports teams in Chicago.

Seif Elbualy, M.D., is the director of interventional pain management at Baptist Health's Marcus Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Elbualy specializes in interventional pain management, particularly for spine-related pain and failed back surgery syndrome. Dr. Elbualy joined the Marcus Neuroscience Institute from the Comprehensive Center for Pain Management at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, where he served as director. He is currently an affiliate assistant professor at the Charles A. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He has more than 25 years of experience utilizing medication management and interventional pain therapy. He performs all fluoroscopically guided epidural and selective nerve root blocks, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, and radiofrequency denervation. He has additional expertise in spinal cord stimulation, DRG stimulation and intrathecal pump implantation. Dr. Elbualy's goal is to help patients regain as much function as possible to improve their quality of life. He appreciates spending time with and getting to know his patients. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Elbualy enjoys spending time with his family and participating in medical mission trips to Haiti each year.
