Dr. Orhan Sancaktar received his cardiovascular training at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, The University of Illinois at Chicago and The Medical College of Wisconsin. A board certified internist, Dr. Sancaktar was both a resident in internal medicine and pediatrics and an assistant professor in clinical medicine at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Dedicated to providing care to those in need, Dr. Sancaktar served as a volunteer physician at the Chicago Community Health clinic while living in Illinois. He also served as the Chief Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at The Medical College of Wisconsin. Prior to joining Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates, Dr. Sancaktar was a hospitalist at the Critical Care and Pulmonary Physicians practice in Aurora, CO.

Nelson A. Prager, MD, FACC, FSCAI, FHRS, FAHA has been with ADCA since 1993. Dr. Prager's interests included cardiac electrophysiology (Heart Rhythm Disturbances), coronary artery disease and the business aspects of cardiovascular practice. He has done research and published articles on thrombosis, cardiac arrhythmias and clinical measurements of myocardial damage. He enjoys taking care of patients with cardiovascular problems and developing long term relationships with his patients. He has been actively involved in the business of cardiology and is President of ADCA.Dr. Prager attended the University of Colorado, Boulder receiving an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Medical School. He completed his postgraduate training in Denver and his cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at Washington University in St. Louis at Barnes Hospital.Dr. Prager actively practices at The Medical Center of Aurora, Presbyterian St. Lukes, North Suburban and Skyridge in the Denver area. The practice of medicine is a skill that is refined over a lifetime. While physicians go through years of training to master their own subspecialty, the essence of being a medical practitioner can sometimes be overlooked. I first went into medical school interested in treating the individual. Since then, I have kept this approach with my patients in the unique field of electrophysiology. I firmly believe in open communication with each patient and providing every opportunity for informed decision making.
