Our practice's philosophy is "Take great care of the patient." I am so fortunate in my career that I have the honor of taking care of two (or more!) patients - mother and baby. Every day, I help families make important decisions. Sometimes, these decisions will affect them for the rest of their lives, and I cannot emphasize enough how seriously I take this responsibility. It is my job to listen to families to learn their goals and values, and put that together with I have learned in my training and practice to come up with a plan of care that everyone is comfortable with. Whether it be a mom with a complicated medical history or a concern about the baby, I make sure to communicate clearly with my patients and ensure all of their questions are answered, and then make sure to support them through whatever may come next. My partners and our office staff are amazing and together we aim to provide the best high-risk obstetric care in Colorado.

Dr. Jones completed his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angelas. His residency training was completed at the University of Arizona and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Jones is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine specialist. He joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado in 1991 but left to join Obstetrix Medical Group of Colorado in 2000.

Dr. Stettler was born and raised in Texas. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his OB-GYN internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship training at The University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Stettler is board certified in OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Stettler served as the Medical Director of the Obstetrix practice in Ft. Worth until 2001 and is now the Medical Director for Obstetrix Medical Group of Colorado.

Dr. David Longcope grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts. He graduated Cum Laude from Colby College in Waterville, Maine where he majored in Chemistry. He performed his medical school training at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Longcope completed his 5 years of general surgery training at the State University of New York in Syracuse. He then went on to do an additional year of fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Dr. Longcope was in practice for 6 years in New Orleans as a colon and rectal surgeon and was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Tulane University.He was forced to permanently move his practice to Colorado after hurricane Katrina in 2005 and joined Dr. Sgambati. Dr. Longcope specializes in laparoscopic surgery and instructs surgeons across the country on performing this advanced technique. He also has a special interest in anorectal disease and surgery for inflammatory bowel disease (Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis), diverticulitis, and colorectal cancer.Dr. Longcope is married and his interests include woodworking, hiking, biking, skiing, and running and he has finished the Leadville Trail 100 twice.

Dr. Kahn is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She graduated from Wellesley College with a major in music and graduated medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She completed her internship, residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. Kahn joined Obstetrix Medical Group of Colorado in 2009 and rejoined Obstetrix in 2014 after a year practicing maternal-fetal medicine in New Zealand.

Dr. Lindsay received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Brigham Young University in Utah. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University in Missouri and completed his OB-GYN internship and residency, as well as his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship training at the University of Colorado. Dr. Lindsay is board certified in OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Lindsay joined Obstetrix Medical Group of Colorado in 1995.
