After Dr. Hinshaw earned his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Michigan, he went on to complete his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He headed back to Michigan to finish his obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Hinshaw is board certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. While Dr. Hinshaw is skilled in preventive care and treating chronic women's health issues, he has a special interest in hysteroscopy and minimally invasive surgical procedures including endometrial ablation, laparoscopy, and daVinci® robotic surgery.

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Dr. Young stayed in her hometown and earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Tennessee. She went on to earn her medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Young went back to the University of Tennessee Knoxville to complete both her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. During her residency, Dr. Young served as chief resident. She's board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. As an obstetrician, Dr. Young has a passion for prenatal care and deliveries. She believes that childbirth is one of the greatest moments in a woman's life and strives to offer comprehensive treatment through the postpartum stage. Dr. Young also has special interests in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, adolescent gynecology, and family planning, including customized contraceptive counseling.
