Farina Islam, MD, is a board-eligible obstetrician and gynecologist serving the San Diego area at Damon Cobb OB/GYN in Poway, California. She speaks fluent English and Bengali, offering patients of all backgrounds personalized, comprehensive care. Dr. Islam aims to build a strong, trusting relationship with each of her patients to act as an educator and advocate during diagnosis and treatment. Her specialties include robotic surgery, prenatal care, abnormal bleeding, and contraception. Dr. Islam completed her medical education at Ross University School of Medicine. She is in constant pursuit of the latest knowledge in her field, bringing current treatments and techniques to the clinic for her patients to benefit from.
