Prior to joining the group, Dr. Wang was an attending physician at Cooper University Hospital and assistant professor of Cooper Medical School, Rowan University, NJ. Shortly after graduating with high honors from Harbin Medical University, China, Dr. Wang went on to pursue master's degree in Pharmacology at University of Missouri, Kansas City. Subsequently, she was conducting extensive research at Marion Merrel Dow Laboratory of Viral Pathogenesis, University of Kansas Medical Center and the Department of Tumor Virology, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Mass. Dr. Wang completed her Internship and Neurology Residency training at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia where she was Chief Resident. She continued with fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Hahnemann University Hospital, Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia and Epilepsy Fellowship at University of California at San Diego. Board certified in American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology and American Board of Eletrodiagnositic Medicine, Dr. Wang was the recipient of many academic honors and awards. She has presented at national conferences and has been a contributor to medical publications. Dr. Wang has a special interest in EEG, EMG, evoked potentials and treating a variety of epilepsy patients, including pre-surgical evaluation, intracranial epilepsy monitoring, inpatient long term EEG monitoring, status epilepticus and refractory epilepsy. Scott E. Olson, MD, is a board-certified vascular neurologist with additional fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology/endovascular neurosurgery. He specializes in evaluating and treating disorders of the blood vessels of the brain and spinal cord, which can lead to ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke. His expertise includes both medical and endovascular care for individuals with extra and intracranial stenoses, brain aneurysms and vascular malformations, whether congenital or acquired. Dr. Olson is part of the neurovascular team at UC San Diego Health's Stroke Center. He enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses who share his passion for treating cerebrovascular disease and providing the highest level of care to patients and their families. As an associate professor in the Department of Surgery, he also instructs medical students, residents and fellows. He has given numerous lectures and co-authored many publications on cerebrovascular disease. He is currently involved in National Institute of Health (NIH) and industry funded research involving ischemic and hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Olson is a senior member of the Society for Neurointerventional Surgery. Dr. Olson completed his stroke and interventional neuroradiology/endovascular neurosurgery fellowships at UC San Diego School of Medicine. His focus was on new, image-guided, minimally invasive therapies and he was one of the first neurologists in the country trained in this emerging field. He completed a residency in neurology at The University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Ariz, where he was selected for his clinical and leadership abilities to serve as chief resident. Dr. Olson earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology. Outside of work, Dr. Olson enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family. In addition to the location above, Dr. Olson also sees patients in Rancho Bernardo.

Dr. Lawler is a board-certified member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorders Society. She is also the medical director of the Parkinson's Association of San Diego. Dr. Lawler is originally from Ohio where she completed undergrad at Ohio University and also studied abroad through Duke University in Costa Rica where she completed a Spanish immersion program. She came back to Ohio for medical school at University of Toledo and then went on to complete her residency training in neurology at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C., where she served as chief resident. Dr. Lawler stayed at Georgetown University to complete a fellowship in Movement and Memory Disorders at the highly acclaimed Translational Neurotherapeutics Program where she was extensively involved in clinical research, including the pivotal ongoing study using Nilotinib for treatment of Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease, helped start the first ever Parkinsonism and Dementia clinic, and participated in baseline cognitive and neurologic assessments of retired NFL players for the NFL Players association. Dr. Lawler has published a variety of papers and posters on topics involving the use of Nilotinib in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Disease. Dr. Lawler is experienced in treating many different neurologic conditions but specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Movement Disorders, offering a wide variety of treatment options beyond traditional medical management for Parkinson 's Disease including programming and management of Deep Brain Stimulation and the Duopa LCIG infusion pump. Dr. Lawler also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of Autonomic conditions, muscle dystonia and spasticity using Botulinum toxin injections, as well as all of the various types of dementia. Dr. Lawler is very passionate about the care and treatment of patients with memory disorders and plans to start a new program and center of excellence with the goal of not only improving patient care and treatment options but starting a nationwide campaign of awareness.
