I was in desperate need of getting my daughter seen and they squeezed her in as soon as possible. I've been going to that office my entire life!

I was awake most of the night with dental pain. I left a message about 5:00 a.m. and was contacted promptly when the office opened. They fit me in at 9:30. I really appreciated the prompt and professional service. Thank you Dr. Stemm and staff. Herman "Nick" Fessell

I paid out of pocket for that appointment and a subsequent filling, and they offered me discounts, so I thought great, I can at least get this taken care of and that will be that, even though it drained my HSA for the year. Four weeks later I am still having pain and extreme sensitivity on the tooth that was filled. The technician even drilled into the tooth BELOW the one that was being filled -he said he was smoothing out a previous filling, but then why did I feel the drill going down into my nerve? That tooth is now extremely sensitive as well. I called to see if they could get me in to find out what was wrong with the filling, and of course they stated they could see me, but since I "don't have insurance", I would have to pay for the appointment. Clearly something is wrong but now I'll just suffer until I can find someone else, and probably have to have additional costly and painful procedures. I DO NOT recommend.

He is great and definitely knows what he's doing!

Dr. Stemm explained everything he was doing and was very patient fixing my crown, several times, which would not stay in place. He took his time and tried various techniques until he found one that worked for me. His entire staff is very nice. The take away is sticky candy and crowns don’t go well together. Thanks Dr. Stemm!

I grind my teeth when I sleep and when I wake up my jaws hurt. Dr. Stemm made me a mouth guard that I sleep in and now the jaw pain is gone. Having this mouth guard has also made my teeth less sensitive. He was also very patient and spent several visits with me trying to figure out why I had such pain in a tooth. Pain is gone with only a small filling and allergy medicine. I feel others would have been more invasive in the treatment.

After numerous trips to another dentist, endodontist, and orthodontist I’m finally no longer in pain from the cavities this man filled. Dr. Stemm vastly damaged my teeth whether or not he would care to admit it. Please do yourself a favor and read the other reviews on Dr. Stemm. I wish I had.

This is the best dentist in new Albany. I completely trust him and he gives great care. I highly recommend him

Dr. Stemm and his staff are great! I have dental anxiety and the historic home like building helps create a relaxed atmosphere for me.

He is the rudest prof I have ever met. Before agreeing to the service, they set the cost, however, just before he was to begin, and after I was already loopy from a med he gave me, he had my husband sign a new agreement which was about $1000 more than the first. The worst was the work he did.Its been two years and I have not been able to eat with the dentures, my bite is totally off and I look like I don't have teeth. I finally saw another dentist. They are so bad he cant fix them. BEWARE!!

Mu second bad experience with this dentist office was during a cleaning. The dental hygienist was carrying on a conversation with the other lady in the office. She kept jabbing her friggin' tool into my gums. Then she'd say, "wow you have some serious bleeding." Really, I wonder why? I stopped her and told her if she wanted poked me in the gums again, that I was going to leave. I think she cried. That was not my intention at all, but dude that was some very irritating crap. Time for a new dentit

has to be the worst ever dentist.even the ppl he has working for him is rude., what i went through NO one should have to go through, an who cuts someones gums with dentail floss with out them knowing about it, there isnt a star to click on his office is beyond poor, im not the only one he did this too treating ppl with abscessed, he also did someone else the same way, he is ruining the rep that his grandfather an his father has build,he will never fill the shoes that was there before him

The dentist allows his assistant to do all the work. My filling on my front tooth broke off after a month. They charged for something that was their mistake when they told me I would not be charged. Oh and they tried drilling on the wrong tooth.... the list goes on. I urge you to go elsewhere if possible.

I have been to many dentist offices over the years and this was by far the best experience I have had. Dr Stemm was more concerned about me receiving proper care then my account balance with him. My extractions were painless and my dentures are excellent. I always get compliments on my smile now.

I had two fillings that turned into root canal issues because the teeth were traumatized. Waited 4 weeks to get it taken care of, and was told my pain was nothing at first. Today I went & Dr. Stemm kept drilling, even though it hurt - and I notified him of this. I was in tears by the time this was over - and I'm hoping I won't need a root canal on this one. I was told to return in 4 weeks if the pain doesn't subside...
