Dr. William Ellingson, DMD

I would agree with the other reviews. They are over charging and over treating. I would recommend that you at the very least take their treatment plan to another dentist for a second opinion. I have no doubt that the work that they do is good, and they are friendly with a nice office. But you will PAY for all of that. I took my treatment plan to two other dentists. One was apoplectic and said they were 'bandits' and that 'God would judge them for stealing from those who need help'. Stay away or proceed with caution

My opinion is that this dental practice is focused on $$ PROFIT $$ and not focused on patient outcomes. Stay away from Dr. Ellingson and Granite View Dental! I would give zero stars.I have been to Dr. Ellingson's dental practice (Granite View Dental) many times. In all of my encounters, Dr. Ellingson has only been in the room for less than 3 minutes, TOTAL.His practice recommended expensive (and in my opinion unnecessary) deep cleaning for which I, and my insurance, paid amounting to THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. His office informed me that I had a substantial credit balance on my account that would be used for my future deep cleaning visits. I requested a detailed ledger which showed I was carrying this balance for several months. I decided to terminate my deep cleaning and asked for a refund of the credit balance. After many calls to their office, I was provided with a complex answer which amounts to they are increasing previous charges so they won't repay my credit. Deceitful.

The staff was friendly, scheduling an appointment was prompt, and the doctor's findings were understandable. I give the office a 5 star rating.

I had a horrible experience at this office. Dr Ellingson and his staff were incredibly rude when i took my daughter in for the first and last time. When I called you could tell the front desk lady was having a bad day and she was really short with me. I should've known then not to book anything with their office but i went ahead and scheduled cause they could get me in quick. the doctor was really rude to my daughter who is only six and ignored when she said it was hurting. I'll never go back.
