Dr. Virginia Kirkland, DMD

Dr. Kirkland is a professional and amazing person. She is knowledgable, skillful and caring. I was a patient of Dr. Kirkland for close to 20 years. Every encounter was perfection. I became very ill and was not able to travel to her office while I was trying to beat a potentially terminal disease. Now, that I am in better condition, Dr. Kirkland has retired. I’ll miss her but I am extremely grateful for the care and concern she provided me for years. She’s the absolute best provider I have ever had in any speciality. I wish her well!

As a new patient to the practice, I was greeted warmly and given easily understandable information. I chose to have a tooth extracted. The process was fast and painless. Follow up instructions were explained fully. Dr. Kirkland herself has a professional presence, but at the same time is open and engaging.

Dr. Kirkland is amazing! Laser surgery today, even the "giant needle" didn't hurt! I have had nothing but great experiences with her. She explains everything thoroughly, is gentle, answers all questions, just great. And the staff is wonderful. Carla, Lori, Debbie, Jodi, everyone else. They are all the best!

A very caring and attentive Dr. With an excellent staff

I literally hate anything that has to do with dental work. Dr. Kirkland made me feel so comfortable and was compassionate to my needs and what I could afford. The office introduction and walk through was such a great welcoming experience. I felt very confident in Dr. Kirkland’s recommendation and scheduled an appointment for the following week.

Dr. Kirkland is a wonderful person and a Great doctor. I would give her a 5 out a 5!!! Very knowledgable, bedside manor and gentle!

I am sure Dr. Kirkland is a well educated and experienced professional, but the cost of treatment here is very expensive and strange billing methods. $263 for consultation and $3600 for a one hour graft procedure, they wont even bother to reach out to my insurance company to tell me how much will be covered? It seemed like the "finance" lady doesn't like calling insurance but would rather arrange me a loan from Wells Fargo bank...highly unprofessional, felt like we are at car dealer!!

Dr. Kirkland was a life changer for me when it came to a problem I was having around my dental implant. After being seen by another periodontist and an oral surgeon, she was the only one who knew exactly what I needed for treatment. She discovered a foreign body, removed it and used laser therapy to clean up the area. I will continue to see her for routine care. She and her staff are amazing!

When I walked into Dr. Kirkland's office several years ago , I had a bad abyss that was overlooked at another office. She advised me about treatment, and her staff explained what I should be doing on a daily basis to keep a healthy mouth. I have followed their suggestions and the deep pockets in my gums have improved tremendously. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Dr. Kirkland is an excellent practitioner. I have been going to her for several procedures over the years and she is tremendous at putting patients at ease even when delivering difficult news. She has a warm professional chair-side manner and is very engaging in explaining step-by-step procedures. I would recommend her for any difficult dental surgeries and you will not be disappointed. She has also assembled a top notch office staff that greets each patient warmly. Great team and office.
