Intelligent, Patient, Kind, and Caring
Highly highly recommend Dr. Palermo. Started seeing her wondering about my daughter’s potential tongue tie (didn’t want to just go some place that clips them all day- wanted actual pros and cons), ended up working with her on my daughter’s plagiocephaly. Due to a later-diagnosed genetic condition, my daughter wore the helmet for 8 months, and though the helmet and its follow ups are done through the orthotist, several times I checked in with Dr. Palermo to make sure we were on the right track. She was always kind, very very thorough and knowledgeable, and never rushed our appointment. She also asked lots of questions about my daughter overall and made suggestions based on the full picture of her health. I am so grateful for her!

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Palermo. I took my son to her for a Plagiocephaly. Essentially I lost 8 weeks during which my son could have been being treated for his condition. The office did not refer me out for appropriate measurements (head scan) and one was not provided till 8 weeks after my initial visit. Now my son will be beyond the preferred age of treatment when he receives his helmet. I would never recommend this practice for infant head shape.
