Bad scheduling practices, great doctor

I have had great care by Dr. Nguyen and his dental assistants. However, when calling to schedule my next cleaning I was told that the soonest available was 7 months later in January as an established patient. I am supposed to have cleanings every 6 months, so this is not acceptable. Up until now I have not had any complaints, but I feel as though I am being forced to find a new dentist to be able to receive proper care
