Dr. Thomas Nabors, DDS

I went to Dr. Nabors office in 2022 for my first visit for a teeth-cleaning. When my appointment ended, his staff told me I needed $3,000 of dental work, including a treatment that I had never heard of. I asked to be sent studies showing the benefits of the treatment, but never received them. I was suspicious and never returned. Instead, six months later, I returned to a dentist I’d been to years before. After that cleaning & exam, I was told I needed no further dental work. Now it’s 2 years later and I’ve never needed additional dental work. Glad I didn’t continue with Dr. Nabors.

I spent several thousand dollars trying to get my teeth fixed and in the end there was a space between two of them in the front. He refused to fix them. And I still have the space to this day. I would not go to him, because I spent a large portion of my paycheck and he’s not hurting at all.

Do not go to Dr. Nabors for general dentistry. I was completely taken advantage of. I was told I have periodontal disease/gingivitis which required two deep scaling treatments (they take about 30 min), a water pik, and antibiotics. The day they told me they made this sound so urgent and immediately wanted to take about a “payment plan”. I take really good care of my teeth and myself so I was worried by their reaction and just said ok, I want to do the treatment. I was charged 1500 AFTER insurance. My insurance covered $750. Come to find out, they completely scammed me and over charged for this treatment and procedure. Dentist friends of mine out of state looked at my charts that I requested from Dr.Nabors office and told me the amount of money charged was unheard of. Most people pay around $150-200 out of pocket after insurance. I should have gotten a second opinion but just know that they are willing to do this to you. They are that type of dental practice.

After researching and visiting other cosmetic dentists in Nashville, I choose Dr. Nabors for my restorative work. I left my initial appointment feeling very comfortable with his abilities and expertise. Though I knew nothing about the process, he fully explained the procedure and guided me through the decision making. He was interested in MY goals and MY desired outcome, which were very natural looking, pretty teeth, and I got exactly what I wanted. The staff is cordial and pleasant, and my entire experience continues to be great. Like any investment, cosmetic dentistry is not inexpensive, but I am reminded of what a good choice I made every single time I smile!

I was quite impressed with Dr Thomas Nabors and his staff. I was visiting from out of town and broke a tooth. I called his office and they saw me right away. Dr Nabors did what I needed in order to make me comfortable and protect the tooth until I could see my dentist at home. Dr Nabors and his staff were a pleasure to talk with....very friendly!
