Dr. Thomas Kwon, DDS

I've been going to Dr. Kwon for several years. He is friendly and efficient. What would have taken and has taken in other dentist offices a minimum of 2 hours and a lot of pain. Dr. Kwon did it in 45 minutes and no pain. No short cuts, just done well. His staff are friendly, pleasant and again very efficient. Hope he doesn't retire any time soon. L. Jones

If you are going in for routine procedures like cleanings and examinations, this provider is fine. If you require more complex work such as crowning or mouth guard fabrication, I would look elsewhere. Although Dr. Kwon is a nice guy and has a great disposition, the quality of the work is unfortunately lacking. When I choose a dentist, quality is the most important factor due to the expense and importance of well-functioning teeth. Unfortunately, this was the worst dental experience of my life. I spent $1400 with this provider that resulted in 6 months of pain for poorly fabricated and fitted crowns. Ultimately, I had to see another dentist (and incur additional expense) to fix his original work. I would recommend that he take more time addressing each patient and update the office equipment capability to aid precision.

Thought that he was really great when first went to him. Seems that every single time I went to him he always found a reason to replace a crown or some other unnecessary expensive work. Stopping going because I started questioning his judgement and motivations. Nice guy but that's it.

Dr Kwon allowed an assistant to deal with a molar (#18) where a small piece had broken off. She drilled away so much at the molar that no tooth was left to attach a crown to. The office then used insufficient bond for the crown. I now require a post and tooth replacement because of his office's shoddy work. The improper seal allowed the root to be irreparably damaged. I'd steer clear.

I have been visiting Dr. Kwon's office for several years and find him to be very informative and skilled at what he does. He tells you just what you need to hear for your dental care needs and works with other providers to ensure affordability and quality of service is received. They genuinely care about you, and and staff are extremely kind, considerate, and courteous.

I was having trouble with a night guard that I received from my previous dentist. I explained the issues I was having to Dr. Kwon and he suggested I switch from a bottom-deck night-guard to a top-deck. I am in school full time and I purposefully function on a tight budget. However, I thought the $280 investment would be worth it based on the dentist's advice. The fitting was all wrong, and the dentist gave the impression he adjusted the night guard, but it still hurts like hell. Never again!

Don't go there. The receptionist is so rude I think it's because my name(Ahmed)I see that she greeted all the patient with their names but me nooooo. And on the phone she sounds very stressed I don't think she can work in the customer service. I didn't see the doctor yet and I am waiting here she ask me to contact my insurance company to make sure I have the doctor name on my policy instead of her doing her job it's ridiculous

Dr. Kwon and staff are extremely kind, considerate, and courteous. I have been his patient for approximately 20 years and find no fault; I hae even sent family/firends to his office. Go to Dr. Kwon he is awesome, and no pain! CL Duncan

Have been a patient for 16+ years. Dr. Kwon and his staff have consistently provided excellent service! If you have an afterhours or weekend emergency you can get in touch with Dr. Kwon or his staff and they will help resolve the problem. They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience!
