Dr. Taurean Hodges, DDS

He's been my dentist for 10 years. I've never had any issues.

I began seeing Dr Hodges in April of 23 because of insurance changes. The 1st cleaning he said there was a crown that need to be replaced. I allowed him to replace the crown. 3 days after the inside of my jaw was getting cut by the crown. I went back they took out and put back. I know by the way it felt it had been put in backwards. Next visit 6 mo. later he says I need another replaced on the other side. I said not bothering me. 6 months later a cleaning, he takes the probe puts in under the tooth he said needed replaced and pulls up on it while stating 'oh it's going, it's going to go'. I felt as if he was going to pull it out. not bothering me.I went to another dentist when I left that day & made an appt. for my next 6 mo. visit which was today.The crown Dr Hodges put in 1 year 5 months ago is cracked and needs to be replaced. No mention of the other needing to be replaced.He also found so called cracks in 2 of my husbands teeth. The new dentist did not.

Terrible experience. Filling was done improperly, and he attempted to drill with no numbing injection! Have had problems with tooth since, now have a new cavity because of improper filling that requires a $1600 crown! Dr. Hodges is unprofessional and rude. He told us to “get better insurance” after informing him his practice no longer accepted our plan. Office is unclean, high turn over rate of office staff and dental hygienists. Beware of this dentist.

Dr. Hodges is an incredible Dentist, a friendly man, and a brilliant medical professional. I will never go to another Dentist in my life. He cares about dentistry, and is focused on his patients more than any medical professional I've ever met. He interacts with every single person who comes into his office. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the facility is immaculately clean.
