Best dentist in the US
Steve has such a down to earth manner he always made me and my family like his friends. He made me an upper denture in 2012 that I still wear today. Our loss in the Chicago western suburbs is Cordovas gain. Wish we were still local

Horrible Dentist
I had a bad experience with Dr Hennessy I had an extraction done but was not informed that my gums would be cut and sowed back together. He made me feel like he was heartless. Before it was done there weren’t any soothing words to tell me only that it was going to hurt! As I screamed and was very uncomfortable the assistant did not even show any comfort from all the pain I endured. I didn’t receive any follow up instructions and was given gauze only because I asked for it and if she could put some in my mouth. I am still unsure if I should rinse my mouth or even what to eat! I felt like I was in a horror movie and my mouth was like a blood bath when I left! I will never go back for any other treatments with this dentistry.

Impressive First Impression
Dr. Hennessy took time to discuss my concerns as well as discuss actionable ways I could improve my dental care. Seemed to be very knowledgeable and had a nice personality.

GREAT PERFORMANCE
Had a bridge fitted and prepped for a replacement crown. Three hours in the chair and a liquid diet for 24 hours. I have been seeing Dr. Hennessy for the past 4 years. We communicate very well on my dental needs as well as numerous other topics. Other than the numbing process, I've never had a bad experience. Some procedures take longer than I would like, but that is just the nature of the beast. The human lips can only stretch so far over a period of three hours, so a little sore tonight. Overall I really enjoy my time at Dental Cares.
