Great dentist but beware. Ask an estimate before getting any work done. Had 2 crowns after 2 root canals & was told the bill was going thru insurance. So you can imagine my surprise when I receive an almost $3K bill. I made mthly payments & after a few months, got a call from Penny trying to force to me come up with $2600 right there on the phone. Suggested I put on on a credit card or take out a loan. Said it was my fault that I didn't ask for an estimate. Yes, my fault. Pretty ridiculous.

Penny in billing is the most rude person I have ever encountered. We received a bill from TWO years ago for $244 for a routine cleaning. I have never paid more than $100 for a routine cleaning. Apparently when Dr. Briggs is out of network, they charge you more than double for the same thing.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN NETWORK, because they won’t tell you for TWO YEARS.
