Dr. Simone Leonard, DDS

My 1st visit went well. Then each time I went in Dr. Leonard wanted to replace filled teeth with crowns. I explained that the teeth that had fillings were not causing me any problems so why change them. I did have a few crowns done. When estimated it was for crowns. On the day the crowns were to be put on Dr. Leonard came in planning on doing a root canal. I asked why and was told that is what was scheduled. I spoke up and said that nothing was said about a root canal. She agreed that I didn't need one and placed the crowns. Right away I mentioned that one of the crowns was too tight and uncomfortable. The crown was sanded down a bit and put back in place. It still was uncomfortable. So the doctor rescheduled me to come back leaving the uncomfortable crown in place. Before I had my follow-up appointment the crown fell off. When I went in to get it put back on Dr. Leonard came in and planned on completing a root canal. I told her that she wasn't doing a root canal. I told her I was only in to get my new crown cemented back in place. I also told her again that it was too tight. She told me she could only do so much adjusting and if I didn't get a root canal she couldn't guarantee anything. She said if I ended up getting an infection she would have to break off the new crown and I could go to a specialist for a root canal. She wanted to charge me for this visit. I told her that I wasn't going to pay anything more since the crown was paid for already and she knew that there was a problem with it from the start. I haven't been back.
