Had a great experience with this office today. Needed same day care and they obliged. Paperwork was done via a cell phone app so when I arrived, they were ready. Everyone was pleasant and professional

I have been a patient of Dr. Upton’s for the past 7 years. She is very caring and a wonderful dentist. I have completed Invisalign treatment at her office and I am very happy about how my smile has improved. I highly recommend Dr. Upton.

Dr. Shaheen Upton at Family Care Dental (1810 Decatur Hwy 212, Fultondale, AL 35068) has committed multiple instances of malfeasance. Her behavior and conduct were rude and reckless. Her methods and practices were both dangerous and dishonest. She broke one tooth and then damaged another. She charges exorbitant rates as she ruins your mouth. Also, she is dishonest. She will sell you a temporary dental flipper, claiming it is a more permanent dental partial. When the cheap flipper breaks, she will tell you that she "offers no repairs and no refunds" and that you paid "for labor and not materials". She will also threaten her patients: "I don't want anything bad said about me or my office." Save everything, because you will need it when you file your complaint with the Board of Dental Examiners of Alabama. BEWARE: The Family Care Dental in Hoover, AL (3325 Lorna Road) is also run by Dr. Shaheen Upton. Please file a formal complaint to stop Shaheen Upton from inflicting more damage.

Dr. Upton is rude; she's incompetent, and she grossly over-charges. Dr. Upton will damage your teeth and blame you. Beware this person who should not be allowed to call herself a dentist.
