Worst dentist experience with Shaelan McDonough! Booked a routine checkup, but he refused a regular cleaning, pushing deep cleaning instead—obviously for more money. I’d had a deep cleaning a year ago and maintain well. Bill had random charges he never gave! Unprofessional and shady. Avoid! This person and his clinic should be shamed! They do not have any morals!

I asked Dr. McDonough a few questions about my X-ray’s which he seemed annoyed with. After my cleaning I asked the dental assistant why I wasn’t polished and she said, “The doctor did polish you.” I thought, that’s odd because I’ve had over 30 years of dental appts. and remember what polishing is, but sure. Afterward, I called the office back and asked if a polish was included in my service. They said, yes. Then I said I didn’t get one. The admin told me she would ask the doctor. Then the DA came on the phone and told me I did receive a polish. I said, I know what a polish is and I didn’t receive one. Then she said she would ask the doctor. She got back on the phone and said if I wanted to I could come back in for the polish. I went back in for my polish. Whether it be on accident or on purpose, no doctor should be leaving a service out that a patient has paid for. Second, no one should be lying. If you’re looking for less than what you paid for and gaslighting, Dr. McDonough is it.
