Seems very inexperienced in extractions.
He is kind but not good with simple extractions. It took over 40 minutes to extract 7 teeth. He couldn’t get them out without shattering them. 5 of them were natural teeth with fillings but otherwise they were good strong teeth. He ended up using a drill deep into the sockets and moving it around and around. It’s been 4 weeks now and my gums and the roof of my mouth are still very swollen and I can’t eat anything other than mashed potato type food. I’ve been to his office twice now to try to figure out what’s wrong. I asked for X-rays to make sure there are no fragments of teeth. There were not but he said he was going to numb up my mouth and “shave down the bones around the sockets” where the teeth were!
