Dr. Scott Risser, DDS

I find his office staff to be friendly enough but not real efficient. After 3 weeks, I saw no insurance claim submission in my account & after calling the office about it, they had my insurance information wrong. After correcting it all, I still have not seen a submission to my insurance company & it’s been well over a week, now over a month since the procedure. Also, I think Dr. Risser may have performed a root canal on the wrong tooth (can’t prove it) but I wasn’t even out of the dental chair when his assistant rinsed my mouth with cold water & I nearly went thru the roof. .he didn’t come back into the room to explain why I still had pain either; very unprofessional. I was still very numb from the novocaine so I shouldn’t have felt anything, even his assistant said I shouldn’t be feeling anything. I left his office with the same pain I went in with. This was just my COSTLY experience, others may have had a better outcome. I’m going to someone else now.

Not impressed. The office staff and the doctor are disorganized and rude. Was told to make a follow up appointment to see him and when I arrived for the appointment, the doctor refused to see me and told me to see my regular dentist. This, after a week long wait to see him for a painful condition. If you make an appointment, you should keep it or cancel ahead of time, not when the patient shows up at the office.
