Dr. Ryan Shearer, DDS

July 2019: Dr. Shearer mentioned a crack in a lower right molar that I had no prior issues with. I set appt for the repair six months later. He did the work Dec 2019, my jaw was sore and it was painful to eat or talk, and the tooth was very sensitive to cold. I waited a week. They checked it out, x-ray showed no issues. Told me to take a steroid pack; no relief. I called back to report the pain and sensitivity nine days later and the assistant said: “well that happens sometimes, not much you can do about it”. (The dentist's job is to know how much enamel to remove for the repair and not create another problem) At this point, it seems my option is to go back in for a root canal at additional cost to me!! The two different people I talked to about this in his office didn't have much to say or offer anything. So I guess I will have to live with this issue until I can't. So beware of him wanting to provide a crown(s). It could cause you more grief, pain, and money!!

Dentist and staff are very professional and punctual. Dr Shearer gives the easiest shots. I highly recommend Springhill Dental.
