Dr. Ryan Buckwalter, DDS

Recently we had a dental Emergency in our family, at that moment felt very devastating!! Dr Buckwalter and his staff came to the rescue and was able to make this situation a little less stressful. From the front staff ladies to Dr. Buckwalter it was top notch care and his demeanor during the repair was very calming and reassuring to our teen. Our teen stated that his heart was racing and he was holding back tears until Dr Buckwalter said ' I can help you'. I've been going to Hillcrest Dental for the past 2 years, and I'm so glad I made the switch. Dr. Buckwalter (Ryan) is so personable, respectful, and positive. Everyone on his staff is friendly and welcoming. I recently needed a filling, and throughout the process he took time to explain what he was doing, and even took a photo (at my request) so I could see for myself! It's a completely new dental experience.

Dr Buckwalter and his staff are a professional, friendly, and caring team, and frankly, they are all nice people..... nice to the patients, and nice to each other. That makes a big difference to me, knowing that the people caring for my dental needs also respect each other. The technical quality of the work is first class, and you can tell that Dr Buckwalter really loves his work and does the best job possible. At age 67, I have been to a lot of dentists, and I rate Dr Buckwalter as the best!

The mere mention of the word Dentist drives me over the edge. When I was a child, the dentist insisted my mother medicated me prior to arriving at his office. I have had both shots and gas prior to dental procedures. I have NEVER had a filling with out medication until this week. Dr Buckwalter convinced me it was a very small cavity and promised it would not hurt and if it did he would stop and give me a shot. I felt absolutely NO PAIN! Dr. Buckwalter is a very skilled caring professional!

Dr. Buckwalter has done a root canal, an implant, and several crowns for me. He always strives for the best results possible. He is very friendly and explains procedures thoroughly. His staff - dental assistants, hygienists, and front office assistants - are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.
