Dr. Robert Muirhead, DDS

For most of my life, I have seen dentists I knew because my mom worked in the dental field. I did not receive special treatment. About five years ago, everyone she knew retired, and I started seeing a new dentist who treated me the same. However, I moved and needed a new dentist.I went to a clinic where they claimed I had 'gingivitis' due to some light tartar buildup. They refused to provide a regular cleaning and charged me extra for a 'gingivitis cleaning.' I agreed because I had already paid my deductible. It turned out to be a normal cleaning. What they are passing off as a cleaning is just a polishing.They also claimed I had three cavities without using a dental pick! Diagnosing a cavity requires either an X-ray or checking if the spot is sticky, which indicates decay. No dentist can diagnose a cavity by sight alone.This clinic is a money-grabbing machine with no care for its patients. Unfortunately, this may not be apparent to someone who has never seen an honest dentist.

I was referred to this office by my great dentist, Dr. John Sanders for braces. Dr. Muirhead is very kind and staff is professional. The charge is reasonable and his work is excellent. I'm so glad to find this good group of doctors. I strongly recommend Dr. Muirhead.
