Dr. Robert Heikowsky II, DDS

Like with some other patients, Dr Heikowski found two crowns to be fixed in my mouth. Did I need both? I agreed though for the treatment. The stuff was very busy and bearly agreed to run the claim with my insurance. The crowns were not fitted well and most of the work was done by the technicians there. I will never go to that office again.

I would give zero stars if I could. This dentist is dishonest and unethical. He just wants your money no matter what it takes to get it. Most of the staff, including the doctor, are barely competent. The best professionals in the office are the two wonderful dental hygienists. I don’t know why they don’t seek employment in a practice that is more professional. This office runs ads in local publications claiming to give discounts to senior citizens and patients with no insurance coverage. It’s a lie. I am a senior citizen and noticed (after I paid for a crown and cleaning) that there was no discount listed on my receipts. Upon discussion regarding the discounts, Debbie (the receptionist/cashier escalated the issue into an argument and then threatened to call the police if I did not leave the office. I am filing a complaint with the State of Florida. Take my advice, if you are honest and want a trustworthy dentist, go elsewhere! (Worst crown I have ever had)

I've been going to Dr. Heikowsky's office for years. My experience became worse and worse every time I went. It got to the point where I had to have a major procedure done, which Dr. Heikowsky mentioned to me in passing. He didn't answer any questions I had, and I left his office in tears. I got a second opinion and am now getting said procedure done by an oral surgeon. Needless to say, I would never recommend this dentist to anyone who truly cares about their teeth.

I would not recommend this office to anyone who expects to have their financial exposure explained accurately prior to services. I was told, AFTER, the office reviewed my insurance, that my dental procedures would cost me $1700. I paid 1000 and said I would pay the balance the day they did the work. I now have a bill for 2500 still due, none of it explained. I'm pretty sure they will turn me over to a collection agency. It's all about the money with Mr. Heikowski.

Doesn't listen to parents on what to do on children, a dentist who does what he wants to make money and not what is best for the patient. Has his staff talk to patients and not himself when issues arise.
