Dr. Robert Florio, DDS

I started seeing Dr. Florio and Dr. K several years upon the recommendation of my daughter (an RN who is very fussy) and was impressed with the office's updated practices and procedures. From the x-rays and digital imagery with explanations on everything I was impressed. Recently had veneers done by Dr. Florio and they came out great. Even when I broke the temporary veneers, Mary fixed them twice with always a smile and patience. We have recommended several people to the office and will continue to do so.

I went to see dr Florio for a toothache. He was kind and compassionate and I left pain free. I highly recommend this practice.

I was a patient of Dr. FLORIO for 12 years. In 2019 I visited him. The visit was for pain over my gum above an implant. After x-ray he said everything looked fine. However, I developed an infection which led to a fistula. Upon return to his office and further x-rays I was told I needed to see a periodontist. I went to the Periodentist of his choice and was told I needed a gum graft. I could not understand why I developed an issue with my gum. Unfortunately, the gum graft failed! This led me to go to another Periodentist for a second opinion and when he saw my mouth he told me I should go straight into NYC to a specialist.when he saw me he told me the implant was placed wrong and too close to the front of my gum I had a bone graft and gum graft. ..DDS was able to save my implant.I also had to have two caps placed on my two upper teeth as one of them was filled with decay under the veneer.Dr FLORIO never addressed the decay.After one year of Tx.and $17,000 I wished I could have sued!

I’ve been a patient if Dr. Florio for over 16 years. He is so knowledgeable and patient and is always keeping abreast of new trends and procedures in dentistry. His office is run so professionally and his staff is very friendly and always helpful. Dr. Kohner is awesome as well, always making herself available to patients and when she has treated me she always puts me at ease through various procedures. I would 100% recommend both of them to any of my friends or family.

Dr. Kohner and her whole team are very attentive and I have never had a bad experience there.

This was my third visit to Lynbrook Smiles, Dr. Kohner, affectionately known as Dr. K. is amazing, she clearly loves what she does and makes you feel comfortable and safe. In fact the entire staff is amazingly kind and efficient. Thanks to my sister Janet for the wonderful recommendation.

My last visit was the first dental appointment in awhile and Dr. Kohner really helped educate me on better practices as well as improve my teeth. She was a great help and I look forward to many more visits.

Let’s see are they good? My whole family has been clients of Dr Florio for about 25 years. I can only trust him. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Always a great job, knowledgeable, professional, personable and funny; great staff. Feels like family. What else could you ask for. Dr Kohner is just as amazing and sweet.

I have never had such a positive experience as I have had seeing Dr. Kohner and Dr. Florio. They have been amazing. Dr. Kohner takes her time and explains everything in detail. I highly recommend anyone to lynbrook smiles. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Florio and Dr. Kohner have been amazing. I haven't found a dentist that I have been comfortable with until now.
