Bad dentist and long wait times
I went to Dr Degrgis for several years. Two fillings he did lasted a year or so (all other fillings I've had have lasted a decade or more). On my first visit when he came to do exam he wasn't even going to check my teeth. He is often late chatting endlessly with people.

I have been a patient of Dr. DeRegis (Dr. Bobby) since he came to that Lexington address after Dr. Kaplan retired. Dr. Bobby and Jessie are the best.* Competent, professional, gentle, thorough, caring, accommodating, relaxed and fun. Spotless, beautiful, dental office. I can truly say that I actually look forward to going to my dentist! *I have only just met their new hygienist, and they are thrilled with her.

Two things, very important in dentistry - 1. The patient's comfort and 2. Options. Too many dentists tell you what will be done, and do it. The patient has no say. Dr. Bobby gives you choices, pointing out the pros and cons of each solution, as well as the cost. I've never experienced such transparency and compassion in a dentist. The office is closed on Fridays.

Dr. Deregis goes out of his way to make sure you are well informed about the care given and that you are most comfortable in the chair. He does the work himself, no hygienist, and spends time doing a thorough job. The office, Dr. Deregis and his assistant are always so welcoming, courteous, friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. I will not go anywhere else after discovering this hidden gem! I've been a client for 7+ years!!
