Dr. Richard Kosofsky, DMD

This place is a scam. Their ultimate goal is money. My husband and I have been going to another dental office and due no appointments available for cleaning, we went to this place. First, they place my husband and me in the same room. When I was getting my x-ray and cleaning he was just sitting in the corner. He should have been taken to the next hygienist for cleaning while I was. The hygienist stated I had so much tar and that they would not do cleaning but I needed deep cleaning. I personally do have tar build up so I paid out of my pocket, over $600 for deep cleaning. After my husband was watching the hygienist clean my teeth, by now two hours in. Next, it was my husband' turn. He had no tar, no cavity and automatically the hygienist stated he needed deep cleaning. When we stated no and only want regular cleaning, the hygienist refused to clean his teeth. How is the hygienist refusing treatment? Isn't it the choice of the patient on what type of treatment they want?

My family has been going to Dr Kosofsky for many years. He is wonderful.

This is the nastiest and most impatient and unhelpful medical staff I've ever interacted with. Please dont see this dentist if you ever think youll be asking any complex questions.
