Visited and had a consultation with Dr. Thornton-Leonard's. All went well she mentioned, It was best I see an orthodontist be cause my teeth were not aligned. She was very happy to have me as a new patient. She seems to be qualified, won some awards. All went very well, I explained some of the problems with my last dentist, and I would not see or use them again... (please know) with the previous dentist's work I was in pain for weeks. Dr. Thornton-Leonard's staff took my number, insurance, I filled out forms, all was good, and the experience went well. Until weeks later in a call, I was told 'I would be served better by another orthodontist...' now they gave impression she was not qualified to work on my teeth? I asked if they are refusing services, the dental worker that called said no, but I would be better served at another more qualified orthodontist, as she is in the office only one week. I mentioned I will most likely visit only one time a month. In the end they refused services.
