I have been a 15 year+ customer at EP True Dental and have had numerous, negative run ins with the attitude and customer-service challenged office manager, Shawna, including a no-notification cancelled appointment. I tolerated the front desk attitude and the mid-pack dentist because the hygienist staff (Rhonda) walks on water. As I recently became a new Medicare and United Healthcare Advantage customer, my insurance coverage at EP True Dental changed and I am covered by a no-questions-asked, $1000 per year allowance for dental coverage (actually a better deal for the practice than my previous corporate dental coverage). EP True Dental does not participate with UHC, no problem, and asked me to pay up front, again no problem, but when I asked for assistance filing a claim with UHC as the process is, admittedly, Greek to me, I was told in writing by Shawna that they would do so and file on my behalf.
