Dr. Paul Kaplan, DMD

He is the fastest dentist in the West and in the world. If you have little time to take care of major tooth issues, he is your man. Of course, it is faster to just skip going to the dentist altogether. I think your teeth will be better off doing that.

Just had my first ever root canal at Dr. Paul Kaplan's in Cranston! I put it off for too long and had an internal infection going on so I had to address it. Unbelievably WONDERFUL!!! I cannot tell you how GREAT he was. Calming, informative, gentle and thorough! Had some minor pain later in day, but acetaminofen took care of it! Even today, not feeling like I had anything done. Believe me when I say I've lived through pain in my life time (having had 7 surgeries) but I am very thankful and impressed with his work! ANd I would rate him 10+ for Caring, Calming, Conscientious, Considerate and Complete with follow up calls to check on me!!

Do not go to Dr Kaplan! Terrible experience. My tooth broke 3 days after my root canal he ended up basically making me a tooth out of filling and sealing the infection I had it in after weeks of telling him I was in excruciating pain I ended up going to see him where he could not help me with anything ended up sending me to the hospital after telling me I didn't have an infection and I had a severe infection in my sinuses all the way up to my eye I went to him to try and save my tooth and tons of money and pain later I have to have it removed I am not the first person he has done this too and I'm sure I won't be the last after this incident I looked up and there was plenty of bad reviews please choose another Endodontist if you would like to keep your teeth

Dr. Kaplan was very nice and efficient, had to get a double root canal (two teeth) and it was not as terrible as I was anticipating it to be. He called the following day to check on how I was doing and was very open to answering any questions I had both before and after the root canals.

Very bad experience. New patients beware.

Dr Kaplan is friendly and quick, it is the quick I have issues with as I now have failed root canal that is infected, I was experiencing discomfort after the procedure and I took it as I have to wait for that tooth to settle, I had to go out of state for a while and I let the office know that I still had discomfort and made an appointment on my return. Went to the dentist ,took xrays to find out I had an infection! I am now on antibiotics and was told I will need the root canal redone!
